Where: your browser’s session storage (not a cookie)
Why: saved only if you choose “Close for this visit” on a site notice, so it stays closed. It contains no personal data.
How long: until you close the tab

Older visits

An earlier version of this website installed an offline service worker. If your browser still has it, the website replaces it with a retirement worker that deletes only that worker’s own named caches and then removes itself. Nothing new is stored.

Optional content from other services

Nothing below loads, and these services receive nothing from this website, until you allow optional content. When they load, they receive your IP address and browser information.

What: the live food hygiene rating badge in the footer of every page
Provided by: the Food Standards Agency, from ratings.food.gov.uk and api.ratings.food.gov.uk
Cookies: when we checked, ratings.food.gov.uk set a session cookie named ApplicationGatewayAffinityCORS. See the Food Standards Agency cookie policy.

The link to our official food hygiene record on food.gov.uk, booking, phone, menus, the address and directions links work whatever you choose.
